Broadstruck and Broadstrike
Broadstruck error coins occur when the coin is struck without the collar to form the edge of the coin. Broadstrike error coins come in two types: Type 1) planchet not rolled to create a raised edge; type 2) normal rolled edge planchet, which when broadstruck, will spread and distort.
